Firestick is notorious for poor Wi-Fi reception and thermal throttling. Also, Fire OS handles background services aggressively. Use wired connection via OTG if possible, and disable “data saver.” Also consider reducing stream bitrate or switching to progressive MP4 if HLS fails often.
