Many beginners face VPS-related problems like insufficient RAM (at least 4 GB is ideal), open ports not being enabled, or disk space limitations. Always choose KVM-based VPS over OpenVZ due to better compatibility. After OS install, run basic checks with top, df -h, and netstat -tulnp to verify resources and ports. Disable Apache if you're using NGINX to avoid port 80 conflicts. Watch out for host-imposed CPU limits or blocked ports; many cheap VPS providers throttle media-heavy usage.
