With the IPTV scene growing rapidly, so do the risks of getting scammed — especially when buying from unknown sellers or resellers. Here are practical ways to avoid fraud, based on real experience in the field:

Always ask how long they've been active in IPTV. Newcomers can be legit, but long-term presence usually equals more reliability.

Request a test line, but make sure the test account is created with the username or name you specify. This is a major trust indicator. Scammers usually reuse generic tests, but real providers will give you a custom one.

If the seller has a Telegram group or active support channel, that’s a good sign. It shows they’re investing in communication and ongoing service.

Always pay using "Goods and Services" so you have the option to dispute if something goes wrong. Scammers often insist on “Friends and Family” to avoid chargebacks.

Don’t rely only on your gut. Reach out to others in the community, especially experienced users. A quick background check or second opinion can save you money and stress.

Always trust the seller who agrees to make a custom test line with the name you choose. It shows they have control over the panel and are not just reselling stolen or fake lines.
