Stream drift happens when the load balancer sends a client to a slave that’s not in sync with the master. This is usually due to poor stream relay or network lag. Use rsync or NFS for faster content sync and check if all stream inputs are synced with ffmpeg clock. Also, test load balance weight – sometimes setting too low a weight on high-latency servers creates async behavior.
